Los Angeles: A total of 30 people were killed when a vehicle plowed into a crowd of people, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported on Saturday.
The incident occurred on Santa Monica Boulevard. Up to five people are in critical condition, 8–10 in serious condition, and 10–15 in fair condition, according to the department.
The victims were transported to local hospitals and trauma centres, according to public information officer for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A line of people, mostly women, were waiting to enter the bar when they were struck by a vehicle that also hit a mobile van selling Mexican food.
