New seafront commercial complex coming up in Muscat

Muscat: In line with its commitment to create a destination of choice for business and leisure in Muscat, Water-Front recently began leasing plots in its iconic seafront development.
Offering over 25,000 square metres of leasing space for commercial, business, retail, and food and beverages outlets, the mixed-use development project is located in the heart of the diplomatic district of Muscat, according to a press release.
Working in partnership with Muscat Municipality, Water-Front will offer state-of-the-art public spaces that meet the city’s standards for public realm design, connecting the building and the external seating areas to tree-lined walkways, landscaped squares, and popular public beaches.
Water-Front brings together five storeys of work, leisure, and entertainment avenues to Oman. The ground floor will offer a double-sided mall with restaurants on either end.
From small boutiques to designer labels and global chains, the mall will offer a world-class retail experience encompassing fashion, beauty, lifestyle, a spa, fitness, and more. The unit sizes will range from 70 to 750 square metres with options for internal connections, while the upper three levels will be leased to commercial establishments as office spaces.
“Water-Front is our first iconic development, which will serve as a catalyst for re-emergence of the Shatti District. Its location and landscaping is unique and gifted, offering unparalleled views that both businessmen and visitors will certainly enjoy,” Waqas Al Adawi, Vice-Chairman of S&T Group, said. “Moreover, we are confident that the development will bring blue-chip international operators to the country, some of whom will enter the Oman market for the very first time, Al Adawi added.
“It is an opportunity for international brands that are keen to have their presence in this iconic development, particularly for businesses looking to take advantage of the location and premium construction design,” Kevin Anderson, Head of Development and Leasing at Water-Front, said.
“In addition, the integrated basement car parking facility combined with our management team’s strong commitment towards customer service will enhance the experience of businesspersons and visitors alike,” he added.
