Al Rumais Training Institute top grade from ministry

Muscat: Al Rumais Training Institute, the training and development arm of WJ Towell, for both management and work-based training, received first class rating from the Ministry of Manpower.
The institute’s staff comprises trained specialists in different areas including higher level management, English for business, administration courses and IT.
On May 25, the institute said they have been given an official first class rating from the Ministry of Manpower. In order to receive such a high rating, the Ministry of Manpower demands the highest levels of management, trainers, programmes and facilities all assessed against rigorous national standards.
The function took place at the institute in the presence of the top management of the WJ Towell Group and was attended by representatives and clients from within both the private and public sectors.
Al Rumais Training Institute was established in 2013 and has grown significantly with an increasing number of students and a wide range of courses. The institute has the capacity to train up to 150 students simultaneously in their modern facilities.
The state-of-the-art training facilities include a bespoke IT suite for 20 students, a work simulation lab where trainees can experience an operational office environment and an auditorium for up to two hundred delegates.

At the event, 50 newly graduated trainees in English, IT, SME entrepreneurship, HR. simulation programmes, business and secretarial, customer service and retail received their certificates. They are now better prepared to enter the market place and to secure well paid and meaningful employment to enhance the future of Oman.
