Muscat: Omani citizens have been asked to not travel to India unless absolutely necessary, the Sultanate’s embassy in New Delhi has said.
“The embassy advised all citizens to avoid travelling to the Republic of India during the current period unless absolutely necessary, due to the steady increase in the number of cases of COVID-19, which has exceeded 200,000 cases per day, and owing to the accompanying measures taken by the Indian government, including restriction of movement and prohibition of some activities.”
