CBSE Class 10 results: Best-ever result by Indian School Darsait students

Muscat: Indian School Darsait is exuberant over the performance of its students as they brought in a stellar performance with their best-ever results in the CBSE Class X Assessment held in March 2016. This extraordinary and magnificent triumph of Grade X students breaking all previous records and carving a niche in the annals of school has made the accomplishments even more eventful and colourful. Out of 188 students who appeared for the Summative Assessment, 49 scored a perfect 10 CGPA adding yet another feather to the crowning glory of ISD. While 67 students got CGPA 9 and above, 52 students scored CGPA 8 and above, 18 students got 7 and above while 2 students scored 6 and above. Remarkable improvement As compared to the last year’s result when 27 students out of 204 got perfect CGPA 10, this year the school has made a remarkable improvement with 49 out of 188 students scoring perfect CGPA 10. While 71 out of 188 scored A1 in English, 68/188 in Mathematics, 77/188 in Social Science and 45/188 students in Science. 69/121 secured A1 in Malayalam, 24/33 in Hindi, 6/24 in Arabic, 2/10 in Sanskrit. Principal, Dr. Sridevi P. Thashnath, congratulated the batch of 2015-16 on their remarkable achievement and lauded the teachers and parents for their efforts in helping the stars of ISD shine brighter. Expressing her jubilance over the astounding success of the school, the principal stated: “It is indeed a moment of pride and joy because ISD has been able to leave an indelible imprint on the minds of its stakeholders as well as the community with the fabulous results this year including ‘Zero Failure’ in Class XII and ‘49 Perfect 10’ in Class X.” “It is indeed the hard work of the students, the dedication and sincere efforts of the staff, the cooperation of parents and the support of the SMC that have helped us in achieving this incredible feat.’ She added that the school had been able to create a bench mark for itself to emulate in the coming years,” the principal said.
