Muscat: Temperatures in Oman may approach 50 degree Celsius, the highest temperature recorded on June 3, 2021 was in Fahud in Al Wusta Governorate.
The five highest temperatures recorded on June 3, were 49.3 degrees in Fahud, 48.8 degrees in Ibri and Qarn Alam, and 48.7 in Al Suninah, and Dima Wa Al Ta'in.
The Oman Meteorology said in the weather forecast of today: "The weather today is clear to partly cloudy on the coastal strip of the Governorate of Dhofar and the surrounding mountains, with intermittent drizzle on the mountainous heights, and clear in general over the rest of the governorates of the Sultanate. Along with chances of scattered clouds in the morning over parts of the governorates of Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah, North Al Sharqiyah and South Al Sharqiah."
The maximum and minimum temperatures respectively are expected to be, in the Governorate of Muscat 39 degrees and 33 degrees and in the city of Salalah 31 degrees and 25 degrees. The highest temperature expected today is 48 degrees in Al Buraimi, Ibri and Fahd, and the lowest is 20 degrees in Jabal Samhan.
