
Muscat: Livestock keepers and farmers will be allowed to move during the lockdown between 5 am and 11 am.
The Government Communication Centre (GCC) issued a list of institutions and individuals that are allowed to practice their business during the full closure (20-22 July, 2021). These include:
* Shift workers in the banking sector that are required to be in the workplace.
* Transportation buses for workers in factories working around the clock.
* Livestock keepers and farmers to be allowed to movement between 5 am to 11 am.
* Transport vans for bakeries and laundry (that have government contracts). They will be allowed to transport cleaning services and food to government institutions such as hospitals.
* Hotel establishments and workers.
* Fishermen
* Tyre and vehicle repair shops inside filling stations. The area in the gas stations on duty.
* Shops for selling and repairing pumps and modern irrigation systems and shops selling electrical and sanitary materials (by calling only, without opening the shop).
* Hospitals, complexes, health centres, government and private clinics.
* Pharmacists.
* Emergency service vehicles for electricity, water, communications, roads, public hygiene. Vehicles for transporting gas cylinders and water tanks.
* Ports and airports.
* Trucks above 3 tonnes.
* Workers in gas stations on duty.
* Workers in public and private press and media institutions.
* Workers in the relief and shelter sector.
* Shift workers in specialised insurance, freight and customs clearance offices.
* Strategic industrial measures, the General Directorate of Industry at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Awareness is responsible for determining those capabilities to work during the days of Eid.
* Oil and gas fields.
* Food testing laboratories.
