Thunderstorms, isolated rainfall predicted over parts of Oman

Muscat: Thunderstorms along with isolated rainfall over the Al Hajar Mountains, Dhofar Governorate and the adjoining mountains may be expected, Oman Meteorology said on Monday.

Oman Meteorology said in a statement: "The weather is partly cloudy to cloudy skies along the coastal areas of Dhofar and adjoining mountains with a chance of isolated rainfall. Clear to partly cloudy skies over the rest of the Sultanate with chances of convective clouds formation and isolated thunderstorms over Al Hajar Mountains towards afternoon. There is also a chance of low-level clouds in the late night and early morning along parts of the Arabian Sea coast."
