Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH), has launched a Non-Communicable Diseases Academy program to provide Primary Healthcare workers with a comprehensive knowledge of the basics of treatment and prevention of non-communicable diseases.
"The Ministry of Health launches the strategic educational program of the Academy of Non-Communicable Diseases with the aim of providing Primary Healthcare workers with a comprehensive knowledge of the basics of treatment and prevention of non-communicable diseases and mental diseases using digital platforms." Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement.
"The program includes interactive courses accredited by the American College of Cardiology and courses in the prevention of non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on patients with non-communicable diseases," the statement added.
