Four arrested for smuggling drugs into Oman

Muscat: Four people have been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP), for smuggling and possessing narcotic substances.

A statement issued online by Royal Oman Police (ROP), said in a statement :"The Coast Guard Police, in cooperation with the Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Department in South Al Batinah, arrested four people at sea, on charges of smuggling and possessing narcotic substances. A total of 60 molds of crystal and hashish and more than a thousand tablets of psychotropic substances were found in their possession."
