Oman government creates new logistics company

Muscat: A new logistics company has been set up to nurture the sector and manage government investments, Dr Ahmed Al Futaisi, the Minister of Transport and Communications, tweeted on his official Twitter handle.
“The company, Oman Global Logistics Group, consolidates government investments in the ports, freezones, rail, maritime and land transport companies. The company is also mandated to implement the National Logistics Strategy under the supervision of Ministry of Transport and Communication,” the minister tweeted.
