Illegal fishing nets seized in Oman

Muscat : A number of illegal fishing nets have been seized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in Muscat Governorate

"The Fisheries Control Team in Muscat Governorate was able to seize illegal fishing nets in the Azaiba area. Legal procedures are being completed against the violators and seized nets were confiscated," the Ministry said in a statement.
