Eight arrested in Oman for theft of money from vehicles

Muscat: A gang of eight people of African nationality have been arrested on charges of stealing money from vehicles.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said: "The Muscat Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Special Tasks Police, arrested a gang of 8 people of African nationality on charges of stealing sums of money from individuals."

"The gang would track bank customers who withdraw large sums of money and steal them from their vehicles," ROP added.
