Expat arrested for theft of metal safes from company

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested an expat for stealing two metal safes containing large sums of money from a company.

"The Directorate General of Inquiries and Investigations arrested an Asian person for the crime of stealing two metal safes containing large sums of money from a company. He also stole the digital storage memory of surveillance cameras. The legal procedures are being completed against him," ROP said in a statement.
