Muscat: An expat died after drowning in Wadi Al Hoqain in South Al Batinah Governorate.
"Rescue teams at the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of South Al Batinah dealt with a report of an Asian woman drowning in Wadi Al Hoqain in the Wilayat of Rustaq. The teams were able to recover her body," Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said in a statement.
The authority calls on everyone not to swim in unspecified places and to follow safety instructions to avoid drowning accidents.
