Rough seas forecast for Oman

Muscat: Rough seas with waves ranging between 1.5 to 2.5 metres have been forecast for the coasts of Musandam Governorate and Oman Sea during the next two days.

Oman Meteorology said in a statement that moderate to active southwesterly winds, blowing on the western coasts of Musandam Governorate and moderate to active northwesterly winds on the coasts of the Sea of Oman, leading to a gradual rise medium /rough sea waves reaching 1.5 -2.5 meters during the next two days."
