Group of people arrested for hunting wild birds in Oman

Muscat: A number of people have been arrested for hunting wild birds in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

"The Environment Department in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate arrested a number of people while they were hunting wild birds in the Wilayat of Al Qabil. They were referred to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures," the Environment Authority said in a statement.
