Eight arrested for theft in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested eight people for stealing from shops in several governorates across the Sultanate of Oman.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "The Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations arrested eight people on charges of theft from shops in the governorates of Muscat, South Al Batinah and Al Dakhiliyah. Tools used in the thefts were seized."
