Scattered rainfall forecast for some parts of Oman

Muscat: There are chances of scattered rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms over Muscat and a number of the Sultanate of Oman’s governorates today, said Oman Meteorology. 

The Directorate General of Meteorology said: "Cumulus clouds forming over parts of the governorates of South Al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah and Muscat, with chances of scattered rain that may be accompanied by thunderstorms."

The authority had previously announced today the continuation of chances of convective clouds and scattered rain - sometimes associated with thunderstorms - on Al Hajar Mountains areas for today and tomorrow.
