Four arrested for smuggling and possessing narcotic substances in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested four expats for smuggling and possessing narcotic substances and for entering the Sultanate of Oman illegally.

"The Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substance, commanded by the North Al Batinah Governorate Police, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police, arrested four Asians on charges of smuggling and possessing narcotic substances with the intention of trafficking and entering the country illegally. 95 kilograms of hashish and 20 kilograms of crystal were seized from their possession. The legal procedures are being completed against them," ROP said in a statement.
