Large quantities of illegal cigarettes, tobacco derivatives seized in Oman

Muscat: More than 8,900 boxes of restricted and adulterated cigarettes and more than 700 kilograms of tobacco derivatives have been seized at a site for expats in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

"The Department of Investigation and Risk Assessment raided a site for expatriate workers in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate and seized more than 8,900 boxes of restricted and adulterated cigarettes and more than 700 kilograms of tobacco derivatives," Oman Customs said in a statement.
