Earthquake recorded in Southern Iran

Muscat: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5 on the Richter scale was monitored in Southern Iran on Wednesday.

Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) at Sultan Qaboos University said in a statement that an earthquake in Southern Iran was recorded at 12.35 pm MCT and at a depth of 10 km. The earthquake was recorded 312 km away from Khasab.
