Two drown in Wadi in South Al Batinah

Muscat: Two citizens have drowned in a wadi in the Wilayat of Rustaq in  South Al Batinah Governorate.

"The Authority's Operations Center received a report about the drowning of two citizens in Wadi Al-Himli in the Wilayat of Rustaq. They were rescued by citizens, and taken to the hospital, but they died enroute," the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA), said in a statement.

The authority called on everyone not to swim in valleys, water bodies and dangerous places.
