Muscat: Jabal Shams recorded the lowest temperature in the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday.
Jabal Shams station in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate recorded - 0.4 degrees Celsius during the last 24 hours, followed by Saiq station in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate with 6.6 degrees Celsius and Al Mazyona station in Dhofar Governorate with 10.6 degrees Celsius .
Muqshin station in Dhofar Governorate recorded 10.8 degrees Celsius while Haima station in Al Wusta Governorate registered 13.1 degrees Celsius.
In its weather forecast, the Oman Meteorology said: "The weather will be clear in most parts with partly cloudy skies over Musandam and along the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman and the Arabian Sea with chances of isolated rains. Clear skies are expected over the rest of the governorates with chances of cloud formation over Al Hajar Mountains and isolated rain .There are chances of late night to early morning low level clouds over parts of the Governorates of Al Wusta and South Al Sharqiyah.”
The aerial picture shows the formation of cumulus clouds along the coasts of the Oman Sea (the coasts of the Governorates of North Al Batinah and Musandam) and chances of sporadic rain on the Al Hajar Mountains.
