Muscat: Iraq has started selling tickets for the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup, which will be held in Basra from January 6 till January 19, 2023.
The Iraqi Football Association announced the launch of selling tickets for the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup matches, which will be held in Basra, southern Iraq, from January 6 to 19.
Iraq will host the tournament for the second time in its history. Baghdad hosted the Arabian Gulf Cup for the first time in 1979, the fifth edition of the cup overall, in which the Iraqi team won its first of three titles.
The Iraqi Football Association held a press conference in Basra through which it launched the website for selling match tickets. The Organising Committee for the 25th Gulf Championship has allocated five outlets to sell match tickets directly in Basra.
The Arabian Gulf Cup is held once every two years. The 25th Gulf draw placed our national team, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Yemen in the first group. At the same time, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain, the defending champion, came in the second group.
