25th Gulf Cup: Prime Minister of Iraq reviews preparations in Basra
The Prime Minister sent a message to all sports fans in Basra.

Muscat: The Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, His Excellency Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani arrived in Basra Governorate and held an urgent meeting with several ministers and the Governor of Basra to discuss the preparations for the 25th Gulf Cup Final which is scheduled to be played today between the hosts Iraq and the Sultanate of Oman.

The Prime Minister sent a message to all sports fans in Basra Governorate, inviting them to provide assistance and support to the concerned authorities for the 25th Gulf Cup finals.

The Prime Minister said: “Our people in Basra, Al-Fayhaa, and all the cities of Iraq, are grateful for the kindness and generosity the people have reflected, especially the image of the people of Iraq, and contributed in the past days to representing our country in the best way befitting its history and status.”

“We hope that the spirit continues and everyone will provide assistance and support to the concerned authorities for the final match of the 25th Gulf Cup,” he added in an official statement issued by the government of Iraq.
