Muscat: General Automotive Company (GAC), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Oman, has announced the launch of the luxurious new L200 GLS model. The new flagship version of the L200 model range, the L200 GLS model, boasts a range of exclusive features that set it apart from the crowd. These include stylish new 18-inch alloy wheels, larger brakes, automatic climate control with an independent rear-seat air circulator, A/T with electronically controlled 4WD gear selector, tilt and telescopic steering and much more.

The current generation L200 has been developed to embody the ‘Engineered Beyond Tough’ key phrase, incorporating the latest iteration of the Dynamic Shield front design concept, newly sculpted body curves with contrasting sharp lines, extended wheel flares, and bright accents, further embodying the strength of a Mitsubishi Motors pickup truck and adding modernity. The L200 GLS takes this further with stylish new 18-inch alloy wheels and removes the outer hooks for a sleeker, more elegant look. The L200 also makes significant advances in terms of its pickup capability, thanks in part to the 2.4l powerplant under the hood.
On the inside, the newly redesigned crystal clear dash offers a car-like driving position, taking in vehicle info and enjoying the comfort of automatic climate control. The comfortable seating, ample space, and independent air circulator for rear seat passengers ensure that every ride is comfortable.
In Oman, the L200 is offered with a choice of petrol or diesel engines, each delivering lower emissions and improved fuel efficiency resulting in significant fuel savings in the real world. The L200 GLS features Mitsubishi’s electronically controlled Easy Select 4WD system. This system makes traction in any condition or terrain second nature with the simple turn of a dial, delivering superior off-road performance. As a result, the L200’s off-road expertise is second to none in its class.
