ROP summons man for filming his underaged children driving a car

Muscat: A man has been caught by ROP for violating traffic rules and putting his underaged children at risk by filming them driving a car in his presence.

Based on the circulation of a video of the incident, Royal Oman Police has initiated legal proceedings against the man from Al Sharqiyah for risking the safety of his children and the public.

The police explained that this behaviour is a violation of the traffic law and the video shows the danger posed by this act to the children and those around them.

The Royal Oman Police said: "The circulation of a video clip of two children driving a vehicle in the presence of their father who filmed them, necessitated summoning their father to the Al Sharqiyah South Governorate Police Command. Legal procedures against him are underway.”
