Four citizens rescued by Royal Navy of Oman

Muscat : Royal Navy of Oman has rescued four Omani citizens after their boat suffered a technical malfunction at sea in Muscat Governorate.

"One of the ships of the Royal Navy of Oman carried out a rescue operation for an Omani fishing boat with four citizens on board, after receiving a report stating that the boat had suffered a technical malfunction at sea, northeast of the Muscat marine area. The situation was dealt with and the boat was towed to the fishing port in the Wilayat of Barka in the South Al Batinah Governorate, in coordination with the Coast Guard Police of the Royal Oman Police, " Ministry of Defence (MoD), said in a statement.
