Osaka: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, participated in the official ceremony of laying the foundation stone for Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, in the Osaka-Kansai region.
The event will be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025 under the slogan “Creating the Future.” to improve the lives of communities.
The Sultanate of Oman was represented at the ceremony by Sayyid Said bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture and Commissioner General of the Sultanate of Oman Pavilion at Expo 2025.
Expo Osaka focuses on 3 sub-axes: “Ensuring life sustainability, improving life, and enhancing life through communication.” Expo 2025 will be the third Expo to be hosted by Japan after hosting Expo 1970 and Expo 1990.
