5 arrested for stealing in Oman

Muscat: Four citizens and one expatriate have been arrested in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, on the charge of stealing electric cables from a building under construction.

Royal Oman Police said: “South Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command arrested four citizens in flagrante delicto while trying to steal electric cables from a building under construction. An Asian expatriate who participated with them in disposing of the stolen goods was arrested earlier, and legal procedures are being completed against them.”
