Muscat: The Ministry of Education has urged people not to pay attention to false information about some provisions of the School Education Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 31/2023.
The Ministry said in a statement: "Information has been circulated about some provisions of the School Education Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 31/2023, which lacks a sound legal basis."
"In this regard, the Ministry would like to clarify that the aforementioned law will be published in the next issue of the Official Gazette, which is expected to be issued on Sunday, May 21, 2023, and is the only official source for deriving the provisions contained in the law. Therefore, please do not pay attention to everything that is being circulated about this law and wait until it is published in the Official Gazette," the statement added.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued on Thursday, May 18, 2023, Royal Decree No. 31/2023, promulgating the School Education Law in the Sultanate of Oman.
