Muscat: The Consulate General of the Sultanate of Oman in the Republic of India called on Omani citizens in a number of Indian states to exercise caution, and follow instructions issued by the Indian authorities.
The Consulate General of the Sultanate of Oman in the Republic of India in Mumbai said in a statement: "The Consulate would like to warn all citizens in the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat of the tropical cyclone Biparjoy affecting the region."
Additionally, the Consulate said in the statement that due to the heavy rains and strong winds that may cause damage to property and homes, the Consulate hopes that all citizens in those areas will exercise caution and follow the instructions issued by the local authorities and follow developments through the media.
