Depression in India not likely to affect weather in Oman :Meteorology

Muscat: A weather depression has been monitored in central India, and forecasts indicate chances of it moving towards the middle of the Arabian Sea, with no effects on the atmosphere of the Sultanate of Oman during the next 5 days.

The General Directorate of Meteorology said in the weather forecast for the coming days: “A weather depression is currently positioned in central India and is slowly moving westward towards the eastern Arabian Sea in northern India - Gujarat) with the possibility of it heading to the east of the Arabian Sea during the period between - Monday and Wednesday 18 - 12 September 2023.

Adding that, expectations indicate chances of it moving towards the middle of the Arabian Sea with no impacts on the atmosphere of the Sultanate of Oman during the next five days.
