National Net-Zero Programme holds workshops for industry sector

Muscat: The National Net-Zero Programme holds several workshops for the private sector on reaching net-zero emissions.

The workshops which run till 19 September, discuss a spectrum of topics including defining the industry sector, highlighting the objectives to reach net-zero emissions as well as initiatives and projects in the sector and related challenges.

It is worth noting that the industry sector constituted 32% of greenhouse gas emissions in Oman.

Moreover, the workshops are participated by representatives of several public and private establishments, in addition to academics and experts.
