His Majesty approves reduction in water connection fees for residential units

Muscat : His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has approved that water connection fees for residential units be reduced from OMR 700 to OMR 200, said the Authority for Public Services Regulation (APSR).

APSR said in a statement :"The Council of Ministers, headed by His Majesty the Sultan, approves the reduction of water connection fees for residential units from OMR 700  to OMR 200."

"The  Authority appreciates the royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik to amend the drinking water delivery service fee for the residential category from OMR 700 to 200 , as an embodiment of the Royal Majesty's keenness to enhance the provision of basic services to citizens, " APSR added.
