HM the Sultan issues Royal Decree appointing non-resident ambassadors

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued Royal decree No. (17/2024) on appointing non-resident ambassadors.

Article (1) appoints Talal bin Sulaiman bin Habib Al Rahbi, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil as extraordinary, plenipotentiary and non-resident Ambassador of Oman to the Oriental Republic of Uruguay and the Republic of Colombia.

Article (2) appoints Badr bin Mohammed bin Badr Al Mantheri, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland as extraordinary, plenipotentiary and non-resident Ambassador of Oman to the Republic of Iceland.

Article (3) appoints Ahmed bin Ali bin Said Al Rashidi, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as extraordinary, plenipotentiary and non-resident Ambassador of Oman to the Republic of Maldives.

Article (4) appoints Hamoud bin Salim bin Abdullah Al Tuwaiyah, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation as extraordinary, plenipotentiary and non-resident Ambassador of Oman to the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Serbia.

Article (5) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
