Several expats arrested in Oman for violations

Muscat: Muscat Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate Police Command, arrested two expatriates of Arab nationality who committed nineteen theft crimes at various commercial stores and fuel-filling stations in various locations in two governorates.

In another case, Royal Oman Police said: “Al Dakhiliyah Governorate Police Command arrested a truck driver of Asian nationality after a video clip was circulated while he was driving in the opposite direction of traffic on the dual carriageway in the Wilayat of Adam.”

In Buraimi Governorate, the Police Command arrested a group of women of Asian and African nationalities in the state of Buraimi for committing acts contrary to public morals.

ROP confirmed that, the legal procedures against the accused are in process.
