Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman's Ministry of Information is on a mission to put Dhofar Governorate in the global spotlight. As part of this initiative, a group of international media professionals were recently hosted in the region to experience its diverse offerings firsthand.
Sheikha bint Ahmed Al Mahrouqi, Acting Director General of External Media, said: "The programme to host international media professionals in the Dhofar Khareef season 2024 aims to enhance the presence of the Sultanate of Oman in the global cultural and tourism scene and promote it in the media with the participation of a number of prestigious international media institutions, including Reuters News Agency, the Foreign Journalists Association, National Geographic Magazine, Chinese Television, Turkish Television, and other media institutions in Italy, Spain, Belgium and Australia."
