Search and rescue efforts continue for missing citizens at sea

Muscat: In coordination with the Maritime Security Center, a number of military, security and civilian agencies continue joint efforts in the search and rescue operation for missing fishermen at sea, including the efforts of the citizens’ families.

An Omani fishing boat was previously reported missing with two people on board, northeast of the Qurum area in Muscat Governorate.

A joint search and rescue operation was activated in coordination with all concerned authorities. The missing fishing boat was found, while joint search and rescue efforts continue for the crew.
