HH Sayyid Asa’ad arrives in Belgium

Brussels: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik, the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan arrived to the Kigndom of Belgium to head the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation in the first GCC-EU joint summit.

Upon HH Sayyid Asa’ad and his accompanying delegation’s arrival at Brussels Airport, they were greeted by Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Jasem Mohammed Al Budaiwi,Secretary General ofthe GCC and Ru’aa Issa Al Zadjali, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of Oman’s Mission to the EU. They were also greeted by members of Oman’s embassy in Belgium.

HH Sayyid Asa’ad is accompanied by an official delegation comprising several ministers and undersecretaries.
