Muscat: Based on the Royal orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Shura Council today opened the sessions of its Second Annual Sitting (2024-2025) of the Tenth Term (2023-2027), in accordance with the provisions of Article (41) of the Council of Oman Law.
The opening session, chaired by Shura Council Chairman Khalid Hilal Al Maawali, included discussions about a number of draft laws.
The first draft law dealt with an agreement to regulate air services between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the governments of the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.
The second draft law dealt with an agreement on regulating air transport services between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Djibouti.
The session also reviewed the draft law on special economic zones and free zones.
