The Modern College of Business & Science  Celebrates 32nd Graduation Ceremony

Muscat – The Modern College of Business and Science proudly celebrated its 32nd Graduation Ceremony at the Grand Millennium Muscat. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Aflah Al Hadhrami, Managing Director of Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), who served as the guest of honor.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Dr Muneer Al Maskari, CEO of the College, Dr. Moosa Al Kindi, Dean, and Dr Wadhah Al Mandhari, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs & Graduate Studies. The event marked a significant milestone for the graduates, who were celebrated for their hard work and dedication.

In his keynote address, Dr. Moosa Al Kindi highlighted the college’s commitment to excellence through its QS Evaluation system. He emphasized that the college’s aim is to align with Oman Vision 2040, and proudly announced that The Modern College of Business and Science has obtained a 5-stars rating, the highest result any institution can achieve. Dr. Moosa also spoke about The Estidama MCBS Center for Sustainability, underscoring its impact and the college’s commitment to reducing the campus’s environmental footprint. Additionally, he mentioned The Innovation Center Innovation X, established in 2024, which focuses on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Moosa also highlighted the college’s doctoral programs, noting that The Modern College of Business and Science is the first private higher education institution in the Sultanate to offer a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Business Administration in both Arabic and English. He expressed confidence that the college’s graduates are well-prepared and equipped with the qualifications and readiness to enter the market and excel in any environment.

Dr. Muneer Al Maskari, CEO of the College, conferred the degrees to the graduates, marking the culmination of their academic journey. The ceremony also featured speeches from two outstanding students, Ghada Al Khusaibi and Fatma AlZahraa Al Huraibi, who spoke on behalf of the graduating class. Their heartfelt messages reflected the collective experiences and aspirations of their peers.

The Modern College of Business and Science continues to uphold its commitment to providing quality education and fostering a culture of excellence. This graduation ceremony is a testament to the college’s dedication to shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
