Secretary General of Ministry of Defence receives Italian military official

Muscat: Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Zaabi, Secretary General at the Ministry of Defence on Wednesday received in his office at Al Murtafa'a Garrison Lt. Gen Carmine Masiello, Chief of Staff of the Italian Army.

The two sides reviewed the existing relations between the two countries. They also discussed a range of topics of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Maj. Gen Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), Brigadier Ahmed Ibrahim Ambu Saidi, Director General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Defense and the military attaché at the Italian Embassy n Muscat.
