Coming days will reveal the truth of Lebanon ceasefire pact

Although I do not know anything specifically about the agreement between Hezbollah, the Amal Movement and the Lebanese government on the one hand, and Israel and America on the other hand, regarding the ceasefire agreement that went into effect on 27.11.2024, all my information is what we hear from analyses in the media, and it cannot be considered true, and perhaps the agreement contains declared and secret clauses, and this is how most agreements between countries are, especially those related to war.

But despite all this, I would like to clarify two points in this regard in response to a request from some colleagues to know my opinion on the agreement.

There are two matters, the first is the Gaza war that began on 7.10.2023, and the second is Hezbollah’s participation in the war on 8.10.2023 on the southern Lebanese front, in support of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.

I wrote an article on 14.10.2023 about the Gaza war, in which I predicted that Hamas’s attack on Israeli sites in the settlements on the Gaza-Israel border was orchestrated by Israel, and I presented several pieces of evidence to prove my point of view.

I said that Israel had three goals from the Gaza war and that it was nothing more than the implementation of an American-Arab-Israeli conspiracy.

The goals are:
1) Eliminating all Palestinian resistance movements.
2) Eliminating Hezbollah.
3) Bringing Iran into the war with NATO member states.

But, due to the strength of the Palestinian resistance, Israel was unable to achieve its goal from the Gaza war, despite the passage of more than four hundred days since the war began.

Did Hezbollah abandon its stated condition with this agreement, which was to stop the war in Gaza first? And leave Gaza alone to resist Israel, its massacres, and the destruction of its infrastructure?

Personally, I do not believe that Hezbollah will do that, and I have no doubt that there is a clause in the agreement related to stopping the war on Gaza, but it may be within a few weeks. Let us wait for the details of the agreement.

Israel had prepared for Hezbollah to participate in the war even if the party did not volunteer to support Gaza, and this is what His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem recently announced.

Israel had three goals in the Lebanon war:

First, to eliminate Hezbollah.
Second, to disarm Hezbollah.
Third, the establishment of a buffer zone in southern Lebanon extending 15 kilometres inside Lebanon, known as the security belt.

Was Israel able to achieve its conditions? Of course not.

So I can proudly say that Hezbollah defeated Israel, and the coming days will reveal the truth of this matter.
As for dragging Iran into a war with NATO member states led by America, Israel has failed to achieve its goal.
