UTAS Al-Mussanah and Rustaq College of Education celebrates graduation of 767 Students on December 9

The University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Al-Mussanah and the Rustaq College of Education are set to celebrate the graduation of a new cohort of students (2024).

The ceremony will take place on Monday, December 9, at Al-Rustaq Sports Complex in Al Batinah South Governorate to graduate 767 students—526 graduates from the UTAS Al-Mussanah and 241 graduates from the Rustaq College of Education.  

The event will be held under the patronage of HE. Sheikh Dr Ali Masoud Al Sunaidy, Chairman of the General Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, in the presence of Dr. Said Al-Rubaie, UTAS Vice Chancellor, along with esteemed members of the State Council, distinguished officials from South and North Al Batinah Governorates, and the families of the graduates.  

Dr. Hamoud Al-Wardi, Dean of Rustaq College of Education, highlighted that the ceremony will celebrate graduates from the Colleges of Engineering and Technology, Economics and Business Administration, Computing and Information Sciences, as well as Education in Science, Mathematics, and English. The graduates include holders of Bachelor’s, Advanced Diploma, and Diploma degrees, who are well-prepared to enter the job market with competence after years of academic development.  

The main organizing committee, along with the sub-committees, has confirmed the completion of final preparations for this significant event. After several meetings, all arrangements and details have been finalized, including the program schedule and media coverage plans. Both UTAS Al-Mussanah and Rustaq College of Education are committed to ensuring the success of this ceremony, which celebrate the students’ hard work and dedication to contribute to the nation’s development and growth.  

Dr. Nasser Al-Bimani, Assistant Vice Chancellor of UTAS Al-Mussanah, emphasized that this year’s ceremony is distinctive as it brings together graduates from UTAS Al-Mussanah and the Rustaq College of Education. The organizing of this event reflects a unified effort to present a celebration that matches the significance of this joyful occasion. UTAS Al-Mussanah and Rustaq College of Education are proud of their 767 graduates, equipped with advanced skills to contribute effectively the foundations of Oman’s renaissance.
