Qatar to celebrate its 53rd National Day on Wednesday

Doha: The sisterly State of Qatar will celebrate on Wednesday the 53rd National Day, which falls on December 18 of each year, embodying the progress and advancement it has achieved under the leadership of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.

The relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the sisterly State of Qatar, under the wise care of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik  and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, are a model of brotherhood and cooperation in all fields, including economic, cultural, social and investment fields.

The State of Qatar is witnessing one of the fastest economic growths regionally and internationally.It also sits on the throne of liquefied gas production, and has become a major force in the field of foreign investments, in addition to its achievements at various levels and fields: political, economic, scientific, cultural, social, and legislative.

Regarding the foreign relations of the State of Qatar, this year witnessed Qatari political and diplomatic activity and movement, which contributed to achieving more successes and accomplishments in its foreign relations in the political, economic, investment, military, defence, and strategic partnership fields, through its openness to various countries and peoples with active diplomacy based on a policy of mutual respect and common interests.
