Muscat: Three citizens have been convicted of illegal hunting and weapon possession in a case brought forward by the Environment Authority. The Court of Appeal issued the final verdict, fining each of the accused OMR 5,000. One of the individuals received an additional OMR 1,000 fine for possessing an unlicensed weapon. The court also ordered the confiscation of all seized weapons and ammunition.
