MUSCAT: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, will patronise the closing ceremony of the 15th Arab Theatre Festival on Wednesday.
The festival has been hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, in partnership with the Arab Theatre Authority and the Omani Theatre Society.
The festival saw a number of theatrical performances from various Arab countries and brought together more than 500 theatrical actors/ actresses from the Sultanate of Oman and Arab countries.
This festival is in line with the aspirations of the Cultural Strategy of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, which aims to enhance the cultural and theatrical movement in the Sultanate of Oman, and provide an opportunity for Omani theatre artists to benefit from theatrical performances, training workshops, and intellectual dialogues that enrich the cultural and artistic scene.
