Muscat: In a landmark event, the inaugural launch of Wadi Zaha, the first neighborhood of Al Ahly Sabbour Developments’ flagship project in Sultan Haitham City, was held at the Royal Opera House Muscat on Wednesday. Hosted by the prestigious Egyptian developer Al Ahly Sabbour, the event featured a captivating performance by the renowned pianist Omar Khairat. This ambitious project marks Al Ahly Sabbour’s entry into the Omani market, leveraging 30 years of expertise in the Egyptian real estate sector.

The flagship project in Sultan Haitham City, covering approximately 100 acres, stands as a symbol of sustainable urban development. It comprises three neighbourhoods—Wadi Zaha, Wadi Safa, and Wadi Tala—each located on a separate plot of land. This makes Al Ahly Sabbour the owner of the second-largest land area in the city, spanning 420,000 square meters. The project includes 3,500 residential units, with a total built-up area of 837,000 square meters.

The first neighbourhood, Wadi Zaha, spans 23 acres and includes 760 residential units, with a total investment of OMR 90 million. It features a built-up area of 158,000 square meters and offers a variety of housing options, including studios, apartments, duplexes, townhouses, penthouses, and standalone villas, catering to the diverse lifestyles and aspirations of future generations. Designed by the globally renowned firm SOM, the master plan harmoniously blends Omani heritage with modern design. Wadi Zaha” embodies a distinctive architectural design that blends modern style with Omani identity, developed by the renowned SOM firm. To enhance the living experience, the master plan incorporates a range of lifestyle-oriented amenities and facilities, creating an integrated living environment that combines nature with urban vibrancy. Amenities such as gyms, private swimming pools, vast green spaces, retail stores, healthcare facilities, and diverse food and beverage options ensure that daily needs are met within walking distance.
